~ As soon as we meet a person, we make judgements about them. Just by looking at them, we can tell their age or status. And by the expression on their face or by the tone of their voice, we can immediately tell their emotions. Not everyone has this natural ability. People with Autism/Asperger's find it more difficult to read the signals most of us take for granted. As a result, they find it more difficult to communicate and interact with others.

I think of autism as a pair of glasses, not a kidnapper. It allows you to see clearly what "normal" people overlook, as well as snippets of truth, even at the cost of causing you some emotional pain. Indulging in your interests and hobbies can ease it, though, making this "curse" a gift.
I wouldn't trade my "disorder" for anything <3
